Day of the Dead

So last weekend was Halloween, and the institute had a dance!! So of course we all dressed up (except for Catey of course). I wore one of my family's lovely M&M costumes, Aubree was Belle, Kylie was Batman's biggest fan, Anne was a cat, and Lauri was... we're not really sure, but I think we decided that night that was a rich person. But we had SO much fun getting all dressed up and passing out candy to the few trick-or-treaters we had. And then we made our way to the dance! The theme was haunted prom, so they had it all decorated to fit that. It was pretty cool. And I am proud to say that my roommate and friend Aubree Stradling was awarded Prom Queen that night. The King was our way cool friend Mario, who had on the coolest light up shoes!!! They were such a cute pair! And so we pretty much danced the night away the rest of the night. It was so much fun for my first Halloween away from home!!

And this is a picture of me and my friend Darrell at the dance. Aubree let him wear her tootsie roll costume, and I was an M&M, so of course, Kylie had to get a picture of us together. And yes, he is eating me. I can now say that a tootsie roll once tried to eat me...
